Show and outside sales details:

 

The entry fee per category is $20 for Currahee Artist Guild members and $35 for

non-members.

 

There are cash awards and ribbons given in each category where there

are four or more entrants.

CLEO W. ALEXANDER AWARD

Harold Alexander, Alexander's Florist, will again generously sponsor the Cleo W. Alexander floral competition. The selection this year is a mixed bouquet of daffodils. This floral competition, which can be rendered in any artistic medium, is open to any guild or community member and there is no fee for this entry. Harold Alexander provides first, second, and third place cash awards of $100, $75, $50 and 2 honorable mention awards of $25 each.

Deborah Hartley Memorial Award - $75

Exhibitor's Choice - $75

Julius Johnson Memorial Award - $50

Friends of the Guild Award - $50

Categories: 1st place - $75 / 2nd place - $$50 / 3rd place - $25 / honorable mention - ribbon

JUDGED SHOW CHECK-IN & SET UP

Judged Show: Artists must deliver their three (3) pieces of work on Wednesday April 29 or Thursday April 30 from 1-5:30 p.m. to qualify for judging.  Any exceptions call 706-886-6138 or send an email to Gail at gailwatson58@yahoo.com to make arrangements. To qualify for judging, art must be hung before judging begins at 10 AM. 

 

DISCOVER TOCCOA OUTSIDE SALES CHECK-IN & SET UP : Sat. May 2nd, 7- 9 AM at the Main Street Booth

Take down may begin after Discover Toccoa ends at 6:00 p.m.

JUDGED SHOW COMPETITION RULES

ELIGIBILITY

This event is open to artists' original works of art completed within the past five years. Art must be matted or framed with wire and ready to hang. Art that has received a cash award previously in any Currahee Artist Guild festival is not eligible for judging. You may enter as many categories as you wish, but no more than three pieces per category will be eligible for judging.

JUGDED SHOW ENTRY FEE AND DEADLINE

Entry fee per category for guild members is $20 and $35 for non-guild members. An entry fee is required for each category you wish to enter. One 3x6 panel will be provided for each category. Artists must return registration form by April 27th. Entries after that date will not be accepted - no exceptions.

 

JUDGED SHOW EXHIBIT SPACE

The judged art show will be held at The Studio in downtown Toccoa. Each artist will be provided one 3x6 display panel (approx.size) per category entered. Artists may exhibit additional work for sale or display outside at Discover Toccoa but only 3 pieces will be eligible for judging.

DISCOVER TOCCOA OUTSIDE SALES: 

Artists interested in selling or displaying work outside at Discover Toccoa must register with Main Street Toccoa by April 10th. The Guild has a limited number of tents and panels that may be used by outside sale participants that can be shared with another artist.
