Loretta remembers entering an art contest in the third grade with a drawing of a “Ford” automobile. Some thirty five years later, an oil painting on a tin can sparked her enthusiasm for art once again. She experimented with Oils, Acrylics, encaustics, alcohol ink, and finally settled on Watercolor as her favorite medium.
She works on watercolor paper, yupo, and various rice papers. She is a member of The Currahee Artist Guild and the Georgia Watercolor Society.
