fall judged show & fall harvest festival art sale opportunity

ELIGIBILITY & INFORMATION
This event takes place at The Studio and is open to artists’ original works of art completed within the past five years. Art must be matted or framed with wire (only) and ready to hang.
Art that has received a cash award previously in any Currahee Artist Guild festival is not eligible for judging.
You may enter up to 3 pieces for judging.

Judging takes place in the THE STUDIO. Each artist entered into the juried show will be provided with a display panel, wall space and/or table space

Best in Show - $200
Marilyn McNeely Award - $75
Exhibitor’s Choice Award -$75
Viewer’s Choice Award - $75
1st place = $150
2nd place = $125
3rd place = $100
4th place = $75
5th place = $50
honorable mentions in 2D, photography and 3D = $25 each (a total of 9)

Awards and ribbons will be presented on Sunday at 4PM

Guild members: $20
Non Guild Members: $35

Deadline to enter: Oct. 20
Artists must return completed registration form with payment by October 20. Entries after that date will not be accepted - no exceptions.

Commission:
Any artwork sold inside THE STUDIO during the show is subject to 20% commission to the Guild.​

Check-in & Set up for judged show
Artists must deliver their three (3) pieces of work on Wednesday, October 22 or Thursday, October 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to qualify for judging.

Outside sales opportunity at the Harvest Festival
There is an option to sell your work outside on the street during the Harvest Festival, if you choose to do so.
​
There is no charge or commission to show and sell your work outside if you are participating in the judged show.
There is a $20 fee to show and sell your work outside if you are not a participant in the judged show.
​
The Guild has a limited number of panels and canopies for use if you do not have your own. Depending on the level of participation, canopies and / or panels may need to be shared with another artist.
Set up: Sat. 9AM - 10AM. / Take Down: after the awards ceremony on Sunday.

To enter the judged show and Fall Harvest Festival outside sale (optional), please download and print the form below and submit along with payment to the Currahee Artists Guild no later than OCT 20th. Cash, check or credit card accepted at THE STUDIO.
