“Eclectic meets form and function” describes the artistic works of Sharon Mahon.
Sharon considers herself primarily a clay artist although she enjoys all forms of art. She became interested and began doing pottery in 1998 as a diversion from life in the corporate world.
“I have always been passionate about art, design and interiors”, remarks Sharon. The creation of all forms of pottery – be it functional, decorative or both is a wonderfully creative and expressive outlet for my interests “, she relates.
“The inspiration for my work comes from my travels throughout the world, love of design and decorative style”, she adds.
She resides and makes pottery in her home studio in Toccoa, GA
